Shy librarian Sabrina has had her heart set on Robert, her hunky, reserved colleague, for months. Now she's taking matters into her own hands. . . and anywhere else she can manage. A short, H-O-T contemporary romance, Pearls of Passion is 6,000 words (about 15 pages).

Excerpt from Pearls of Passion
Sabrina licked her crimson lips, adjusted the low V of her scarlet satin blouse a bit lower, the black mini a bit higher. She admired the toned cut of her thigh muscles and the creamy swell of her breasts in the glass as she pushed through the double doors of the county library on ice-pick, black-patent stilettos. She could do this. If her heart was beating a bit too fast and her breathing was a bit, well, breathy, that would just help set the stage.
Mr. I’m-Too-Shy-To-Ask-You-Out was going to get a Valentine’s Day surprise like no other.
She’d timed her entry carefully, just a few moments before closing. The parking lot outside had already emptied of all but her prey’s vehicle, and as the doors closed behind her, the lights in the back began to click off, row by row.
    Perfect.
At the check-out counter, Sabrina cleared her stage. She shoved a stack of books off to the side, tossed file folders on the desk chair, then topped them off with the computer, complete with mouse and keyboard. Stage set. Now for the centerpiece.
Hopping up on the counter, she arranged herself along its length, her legs crossed, the top knee bent just so. Her head propped on one hand, Sabrina posed the other at her hip, feet dangling. She made sure the mini skirt rode right below the Promised Land over her bare legs, the V in her blouse more than hinting at the braless contents beneath the satin. She tossed her long chocolate-brown hair over her shoulder and planted a come-hither smile on her lips just as Robert strode around the corner of the closest aisle of books.
Then had to stop that smile from turning into a triumphant grin when Robert stopped dead in his tracks, mouth agape, as books tumbled from his grasp.
“Wha-wha—?” he choked out as she all but saw his tongue roll up in his mouth. And didn’t he look adorable in his blue button-down and wire-rimmed glasses?     She was going to take him from Clark Kent to Superman in zero-to-sixty.
“Happy Valentine’s Day, Robert,” Sabrina said, her voice a low purr, just as she’d practiced. This seduction thing wasn’t so hard after all. He was already shaking in his black leather loafers.
“What are you doing?” he finally got out. “Um, doing here,” he amended, blushing (and wasn’t that adorable, too?), because it was probably quite obvious, even to him, exactly what she was doing.
“Why, waiting for you, of course.” She smiled at him again, that slow, slow smile, the one she knew raised his blood pressure several notches whenever she laid it on him, which was as often as possible. Not that he’d done anything about it, but she was going to change that.
    Right now.

Author: Chantilly White

Genre: HOT historical romance
Length: 15,000 words (about 35 pages)Publication date: April 2012

Available: Amazon, B&N, Smashwords, and AllRomance

Synopsis
A long-simmering love. A proper proposal. One incredible night.

Billy Wingate has never been with a woman. He’s never held a gun. In fact, he’s never been outside his home state of Indiana. But it’s 1942. The world is at war, and Billy’s life is about to change forever.

On the eve of departing for the war, Billy finally gathers the courage to ask his dream girl, sexy town librarian April Collins, to be his bride. But when his proposal turns into a steamy night of passion, Billy is determined to make every moment count. They both know his first time may be his last. . .

A short, H-O-T historical romance, Pearls of Wisdom is 15,000 words (about 35 pages).

Excerpt from Pearls of Wisdom
"Have you ever been with a woman, William?"
The question, whispered in her husky voice, caught him off guard. He wanted to lie, to say of course he had, he wasn't some green youth. Scarcely breathing, keenly aware of his hand still pressed to her breast, he shook his head slowly. His whole body seemed to pulse with her nearness. She leaned closer, her other hand lifting to stroke his cheek. Her breath, sweet as cherry candy, caressed his face. His hands shook with restraint.
    "Never?"
Billy shook his head again, his eyes locked on her damp ones. Making out with Jenny Fielding in the hayloft when he was fourteen hardly counted, and once he'd met April, other girls had lost their appeal.
He'd waited for her a very long time.
April sighed. She cupped his face with her hands and leaned in slowly. Soft as a butterfly's wings, her lips brushed his. Billy sucked in his breath. All the blood seemed to flood out of his head and into his cock in a single instant.
Mere inches from his lips, April whispered, "Make love with me, William Wingate. Share something beautiful with me before you leave for the ugliness of war."
Billy couldn't process her words. He needed to ask her—ask her something important, make her understand this was not what he'd come to her for. Not yet, at least. He'd loved her, wanted her, forever, but he wanted more than one night of goodbye.
But she sank into him, and his thoughts, always scrambled in her presence, simply dissolved. Her lips skimmed his mouth, moving slowly, carefully, her eyes on his. She deepened the kiss, pressing her mouth more firmly against him, her lips quivering almost as much as his own. The heat from her body enveloped him in a sweet, sensual haze.
"Make a memory with me, William. Please. Will you?"
Thoughts of a simple goodbye kiss vanished. To make love. With April. His body sprang to attention, his already revving pulse shifting into overdrive. But. . .
"I—I don't—" Don't stutter! "I don't. . . know what to do," he whispered back, striving to keep embarrassment from his voice. He had a pretty good idea of the basics, and a wicked imagination, but he couldn't bear to disappoint her.
In answer, April pulled him to his feet. She stared up at him with those incredible eyes, and he felt both young and innocent as she'd called him. But deep in the pit of his stomach, something else stirred. A dragon, a warrior ready to carry his woman off to his cave. Desire, stoked to a fever pitch over years of long, dark nights, thinking of her and stroking himself to climax in his lonely bed, crashed through his body with the force of a lightning strike.
April rose on tiptoe and gave her mouth to his. Oh, so slowly, each tiny movement a gift, she pressed her body along his length. Thighs, belly, sweet, plump breasts pillowed against his chest, the warmth of her melting into him like butter.
"Let me show you," she said.
