Win $100 Giftcard or Kindle Fire with Kristine Cayne at the Heartbreaker #HeartHop!

Welcome to the Heartbreaker Blog Hop!

To enter the giveaways, follow the instructions under "Grand Prize Giveaway" and "My Prize Giveaway"  below.

The Heartbreaker Blog Hop runs from 2/8-2/11, 2013.

Heartbreakers. That's the topic today. Why do women fall for these bad boys who are destined to leave them drowning their sorrows in a bottle of wine and a box of chocolate? I think it's because we love the challenge. We think we'll be the one to change him, to tame him. These men are called "Heartbreakers" for a reason. Victory will be tough, but it will be sweet.

I think all my heroes have at least a touch of heartbreaker in them. Prior to meeting their heroine, they've all been around the block a time or twenty. In fact, Nic Lamoureux, the hero of Deadly Obsession was known to be a typical Hollywood playboy before Lauren James came into his life. Rémi Whitedeer, the hero of Deadly Addiction, left a trail of disappointed women behind him as he searched for Mrs. Right. Of course, that search ends when he meets Alyssa James.

But perhaps my biggest heartbreaker of all is Officer Connor Kavanagh, the hero of Guns 'N' Tulips. You see, when Connor was offered the opportunity to go undercover to bring down a gang of Chicago mobsters, he jumps at the chance. The problem? He has to leave behind his fiancee, Lily Stephens. Worse, he can't tell her what's going on. As far as she knows, she's been dumped.

Officer Connor Kavanagh lost everything--his badge, his friends and his fiancée--when he agreed to go undercover with the mob and infiltrate the ruthless Bank Bandits. After months of scheming and strategizing, the day of the big heist--and Conner's chance to get his old life back--finally arrives, but right from the start, Conner's plans fall apart. Even worse, the woman he loves is trapped in the crosshairs of the Bank Bandits' murderous leader, and Connor is her only hope for survival.

My Prize Giveaway

Pride and determination collide...
Sculptor Bliss Rowland has never forgotten the Naval Intelligence officer who rescued her as a teenager after a London terrorist attack. Eleven years later, and on the heels of yet another terrorist incident, Micah Holbrook is sent to her Virgin Islands retreat a changed man. This time, it is the rescuer who must be rescued.

Even as Micah grapples with the threat of permanent blindness, he also fights against his desire for the determined, sensual woman that Bliss has become. He fears he has little to offer this gifted sculptor if he cannot even see the highly acclaimed sculptures she creates.

Will Micah finally acknowledge his love for Bliss... or will his pride transform him into the ultimate HEARTBREAKER?

More Valentine's Day Fun
In time for Valentine's Day, I have a new release out. Un-Valentine's Day is a cute contemporary romance novelette about a woman who hates the holiday and the man who changes her mind.

It's Valentine's Day, and Noah Jensen has a mad crush on Cassie Ames, a woman who vehemently hates the hearts-and-flowers holiday. Even worse, she doesn't see him as boyfriend material. Can Noah give Cassie a perfectly unconventional un-Valentine's day and move out of the dreaded friend zone--and into her heart?
